This policy describes Ironbound Plumbing & Heating's text-message program and how you control it.
About this program
Ironbound Plumbing & Heating sends text messages only about the work you have asked us to do: a booking confirmation when you book, a reminder before your appointment, a notice if it is rescheduled or cancelled, on-the-way, arrival and job-complete notices, estimate and invoice links, payment receipts and payment and card-expiry reminders, a sign-in link for our customer portal when you ask for one, replies to messages you send us, one reply if we miss your call, a request to review a job once it is complete, a renewal notice before a service agreement you hold ends, and a reminder when equipment we service is due for maintenance. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How you opt in
You choose to receive our text messages in one of three ways: by ticking the optional box, which is unchecked until you tick it, when you book online, send us a request through this site or update your settings in our customer portal; by saying yes by phone when our office asks whether we may text you; or by texting START to our text number. We send a text confirming your choice right away, and we send these messages until you tell us to stop.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.
How often we text, and what it costs
Message frequency varies. You will only receive messages about your own service with us, as listed above.

How to stop
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us and we will stop sending you text messages. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE or OPTOUT. We will send one message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and nothing after it. Reply START to resubscribe.

Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is never shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party.
